Nudge is operated by Studio Juicebox Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Nudge, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

What Nudge is

Nudge is a WhatsApp-based reminder service. You send it things you want to remember, and it keeps track of them and messages you back when they're relevant.

What we collect

• Your WhatsApp number — so we can send you messages and identify your account.
• What you tell Nudge — the text or voice notes you send, including any names, dates, or details you include.
• Voice note transcriptions — if you send a voice note, we convert it to text so Nudge can understand it.
• Basic technical information — timestamps, message delivery status, and similar data used to keep the service reliable.

How we use it

We use this information only to run Nudge: to understand what you've asked us to remember, to send you reminders and daily check-ins at the right time, and to answer your questions about what we're keeping track of for you.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers below, who help us operate Nudge.

Who we share it with

To provide the service, we use:

• Twilio — delivers WhatsApp messages
• Anthropic — processes your messages to understand what you're asking
• Supabase — stores your data
• Vercel — hosts the application
• Upstash — schedules timed reminders

Each of these providers only processes data as needed to help run Nudge, under their own privacy and security terms.

How long we keep your data

We keep your commitments and account information for as long as you use Nudge. Technical diagnostic logs are automatically deleted after 14 days.

If you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems, including anonymising any references to you in other users' records (for example, referral records).

Your rights

• See what we're keeping track of — just ask Nudge, e.g. "what's on my list?"
• Delete something — tell Nudge to remove or complete any item
• Delete your account entirely — message Nudge and ask it to delete your account. This removes your personal data from our systems.

If you're in the UK or EU, you also have rights under data protection law (GDPR/UK GDPR) to access, correct, or export your data, and to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe we've mishandled it.

Children

Nudge is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
